就在最近，这个AI圈的“热词”Token终于有了官方翻译——词元。国家数据局给出了清晰的定位：词元是智能时代的价值锚点，也是连接技术与商业的“结算单位”。说得再直白点，它是AI处理信息的最小计量单位。你的提问、AI的回答，都要拆成词元来算。调用量越高，说明AI用得越深、创造的价值越大。

　　最新数据显示，到今年3月，我国日均词元调用量已突破140万亿。相比2024年初，增长了1000多倍；比去年底，三个月又提升了40%以上。调用量猛增，背后是AI正在从“能对话”走向“能做事”。而支撑这一切的，是中国完善的电力基础设施和国产大模型在效率上的持续突破。当政策、技术、应用形成合力，高质量发展的“智慧引擎”，正越转越有力。

　　We finally have an official Chinese name for “token”—Ciyuan！Recently, this buzzword in the AI community has received an official translation. The National Data Administration has given it a clear definition: Ciyuan is the value anchor of the intelligent era and also the “settlement unit” connecting technology and commerce.

　　To put it more simply, it is the smallest unit of measurement for AI to process information. Your questions and the AI’s responses are both broken down into ciyuan for calculation. Higher usage volume means deeper adoption of AI and greater value creation.

　　The latest data shows that as of March this year, China’s daily ciyuan usage has exceeded 140 trillion.This represents a more than 1,000-fold increase compared to the start of 2024, and a rise of over 40% in just three months from the end of last year.

　　The surge in usage is underpinned by the evolution of AI, which is transitioning from being capable of conversational interaction to performing practical tasks. All of this is supported by China’s sound power infrastructure and ongoing efficiency gains in homegrown large models.

　　As policy, technology and applications work together, the "smart engine" driving high-quality development is running with greater strength.
